The CALEFFI XF filter separates impurities in the system right from the first passage. Its large filtration surface and impurity separation upstream of the filter also minimises the problem of mesh clogging. System water is treated in three distinct steps: through an initial impurity separation mesh, using magnets located on the central stem and, finally, by passing through an outlet filter. CALEFFI XF continuously protects the generator and devices from any impurities that form in the hydraulic circuit. It can be adjusted for horizontal or vertical installation. Internal cleaning brushes mean that maintenance can be carried out without shutting off the device.

Pressure reducing valves are devices which, when installed on private water systems, reduce and stabilise the pressure of the water entering from the public network. This inlet pressure, in general, is too high and variable to be applied directly to domestic systems.

The thermostatic mixing valve is used in systems that produce domestic hot water. Its function is to maintain the temperature of the mixed water supplied to the user constant at the set value despite variations in the hot and cold water supply conditions at the inlet. The mixing valve also features a thermal shut-off function that operates in the event of a cold water supply failure at the inlet.
This series of mixing valves provides the mixed water outlet in line with the hot water inlet from the storage, facilitating trouble-free connection and reducing the space required for installation.

The electronic mixing valve is used in centralised systems that produce and distribute domestic hot water. Its function is to guarantee and maintain the temperature of the domestic hot water delivered to the user when there are variations in the temperature and pressure of the hot and cold water at the inlet or in the draw-off flow rate.
This particular series of electronic mixing valves is equipped with a specific regulator that controls a set of programs for circuit thermal disinfection against Legionella. It also allows checking that the thermal disinfection temperature and time are actually reached and means the appropriate corrective action can be taken. All the parameters are updated every day and logged, with temperatures recorded every hour.
Depending on the type of system and habits of the user, it is possible to program temperature levels and operation times in the most appropriate manner.

Deaerators-dirt separators are used to continuously eliminate the air and dirt contained in the hydraulic circuits of heating and cooling systems. They are capable of automatically removing all the air present in the system down to micro-bubble level. At the same time they separate dirt and impurities contained in the water within the circuit and collect them in the lower part of the valve body, from which they may be expelled. Versions fitted with a magnet are designed for the separation of ferrous impurities.
The circulation of fully deaerated water enables the equipment to operate under optimum conditions, free from any noise, corrosion, localised overheating or mechanical damage. Threaded, flanged and weld-end deaerators-dirt separators are supplied complete with hot pre-formed shell insulation to ensure perfect heat insulation when used in both hot and chilled water systems.

The balancing valve is a hydraulic device that accurately regulates the flow rate of heating medium supplied to system terminals The correct balancing of hydraulic systems is essential to guarantee the system operation according to its design specifications, high thermal comfort and low energy consumption.
This particular series of valves is equipped with a flow meter for a direct reading of the regulated flow rate. The flow meter is housed in a by-pass circuit on the valve body and can be shut off during normal functioning, allowing fast and easy balancing of circuits without the need for differential pressure gauges.
The balancing valve (in the threaded version) is equipped with a hot pre-formed shell insulation to ensure a perfect thermal performance in case of use both with hot and chilled water.
